Hydron Energy has announced the sale of its first commercial Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) production plant, marking the first order for its one-of-a-kind INTRUPTor-Mid biogas upgrading system.

Hydron Energy Inc. is commercializing a disruptive solution that converts raw gases into clean refined fuel. CICE’s funding will deploy Hydron’s technology at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Prince George, lowering emissions by upgrading biogas into renewable natural gas instead of flaring it.

Hydron Energy Inc. has announced impressive results from the first field deployment of their INTRUPTor™ system in Ontario. With recovery rates of 98.6%-99.8% and RNG purity of 97.2%-99.9%, this revolutionary gas upgrading solution delivers up to 50% cost savings. Field testing commenced in February 2024 and the system has been operating continuously with stable performance.

Hydron announced today it has received a grant from the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN).
